I recently installe d a 660Ti into my computer. Whenever I try to turn on the computer to install drivers I encounder a problem.

When I first switch the computer on it is fine. So I start updating the drivers. However about five minuites after the initial bootup the computer stops loading anything. It doesn't freeze, but sits on the screen doing the load animations with nothing happening.

I can move the mouse after this point but i cannot interact with anything. i cannot turn on new menues even with key binds on the keyboard. I've had to turn of the computer from the socket multiple times now.

Does anyone know how to keep the computer running long enough for me to update the drivers?

Specs:

Intel core i7 sandy bridge running at 3.2GHz

8GB of RAM

Corsair CX 500M PSU (upgraded that along side the grahics card from a stock Dell one)

Upgraded from a GT 530 to a GTX 660Ti.

Go into the bios and set integrated graphics configuration to IGD for integrated graphics. You should be able to run with your integrated graphics and update the drivers from there.
