New build 700 dollar

Hello I am new to this forum. I am wanting to build a new pc. Lets say i have a 700 dollar budget. I do already have some thing's for the build. I have windows 8.1 64 bit and 120 ssd and a 500 gb drive. I would like a atx mobo. Also I have a amd 7870 graphics card and would like to get another one so i can run crossfire or a new card with the same chip set. 

The reason I am posting on here is because there are a lot smarter people that use this forum and I respect there informed advice. I would like a 240 ssd in this build as i can get a 1 gb hdd or unless there is a cheaper hybrid drive i could use. I could go 50 dollars more but that is a stretch. Thank you all for any advice given.

I just threw this together and I believe it'd make a pretty good build, sticking with an AMD cpu and gpu.

I left out storage since you said you had that. I recommend upgrading the gpu

I must say that is a very nice build. Thank you very much. ! thing could i maybe get a cheaper graphics option. I still want to run games on a very high setting though.

Oh yeah I was looking at the corsair 200r case would that be a good option as well.

You should be able to use that case.

 

As for graphics cards, I don't know very many that would work enough for high settings for next gen games that don't cost in the 300+ range.

The R9 290 was $199 on Cyber Monday and Black Friday. That would have been wise to snap up. Competes with a 970 ($350).

 

I don't think you should bother keeping your 7870 and CFX with another one. That is a pretty weak card at this point. It's not bad, but it's not good either. Do it if you want to though they are pretty cheap these days especially used.

I'm not sure about prices over there, but I would check AsRock Extreme boards out. They never failed me and I'm sticking to AsRock for my next build despite having an enormous budget.

I don't see any reason to buy a 290x over a 290, at least here in Italy there's a huge price gap between the two, while they perform almost the same. If the gap in North America is anywhere near as huge I wouldn't pay the extra even if I had a lot more money to throw at it.

I will probably buy my case, power supply, and other cheaper parts before income tax time. Then I should be able to get some higher end stuff. I just need input from you all to get me a start.

It's far better. Much better upgrade path. Far better case. Much better GPU.

(I have never tested any of these parts, and I can therefore never guarantee no faults.)
