Mass Effect (all 3 of the series)

The Witcher & The Witcher 2 (3rd one is out soon)

Fallout 3 + Fallout New Vegas

Alpha Protocol (under-rated game tbh, and the german milf in it is hot)

Dragon Age:Origins, Dragon Age II (bit of a let down compared to the first title, but worth a playthrough), Dragon Age Inquisition
Deus Ex & Deus Ex Human Revolution

Divinity II: Dragon Knight Saga

Dragon Age Inquisition is out. Diablo 3 of course. Some korean game is about to get released, looking at a 2015 release for countries that aren't south korea.

For similar mechanics, you're pretty much limited to current Elder Scrolls titles (Skyrim), or Fallout.

 

Also, I do not recommend Dragon Age: Inquisition. There are a large number of issues with the PC version, and Bioware is being tight lipped about when they might be patched.

Skyrim with Quest mods.  There are a few out there with fairly original stories and characters.  I'm at work and can't think of any names off the top of my head but ill try to post later.
