Android 5.0 problems?

hey, i downloaded 5.0.1 this morning and when it had finished downloading it said accept and install so i pressed it but it took me to my TWRP recovery and i didnt know if i had to find it on the phones internal sotrage, so i didnt know what to do, i have a rooted htc one m8 running the GPE rom 4.4.4, any help please?

If you can find where the OTA is automatically saved to you should be able to flash it from there. Since you are already rooted and have a custom recovery I would suggest just downloading a custom ROM that has already been updated to 5.0.1.

Google Play apps are packed into the ROMs these days. I just flashed 5.0.1 onto my M8 since this post reminded me to update it. Got from XDA and it's working fine.

It is a multi-carrier ROM so it will work for which ever M8 you have.

Probably best to wait for the official distribution. That's what I am doing. We can wait together.
