AMD Reward cupons: How do they work?

Hi,

I'm about to buy Gigabyte R9 290 Windforce and I've read that you get a GOLD Award coupon from AMD as part of NSF Space Edition when buying R9 series GPU. But when I checked my vendor I found out that they include them ONLY in some(from many) AMD R9 GPUs.

SOOO how does this thing really work? Does AMD just include them randomly OR is the vendor just cheating on us? Thanks :)

I bought an XFX R9 290 from newegg last week and used visachekout to get $25. I didnt get the Never Settle bundle with it so I contacted them about it and they said that since I already used a promotion I wasn't eligible for another promotion, kinda ticked about it but what can you do.

I still have my gold never settle ticket unused somewhere... it comes in the package with your new card. most of the games offered with it are meh.. if newegg said it comes with the ticket then it comes in the mail at the same time. my free game from Nvidia came in a email the second my payment went through. thats unused as well

It should have showed up in your card during checkout.  You get an email with a code from them> go to their webstie> Enter the code> pick your games> get steam codes> steam> +add a game...> Activate a product on steam> Next> *enter code*> Next> Finish!

If it didn't show up in your card during checkout, contact AMD

SO I will get one always? Even if there isn't written that it is included to the GPU?Because there are written notes(in the vendor online shop) to some GPUs that you will receive the coupon as a gift, but many of them don't have this note written.(Like from all 290 cards they have, only Sapphire Vapor-X has that note)

I don't know that for sure.  I have not yet seen a card without a note but i can't guarantee anything.  I would call newegg tbh you should get the best answer from them.

I bought a r9 270x vapor-x last summer from a local store, they had "posters" in the never settle promotion, sad to say they didn't give me one.
I believe they were "hoarding" the game codes since I just learnt the the Code isn't in the box of the GPU but they give it like digitally to the sellers.
I saw another store doing this when i built my cousin a PC, this time it was an giggabyte 770(2months later) then they didn't gave us the watchdogs code, they said the didn't knew about it where-infact they have posters of it :(
