What iss the best flying sim game, and the best flying sim gear (under 100$ preferably, can stretch some)

My gear recommendations are well over $100

Get a cheap joystick and use that until you can get something better

I use fsx for my sim flying.

 

(I am a real life pilot which is why I said sim flying. :))

FSX or Prepa3d for SURE.

Get some Saitek gear, from joysticks or even full yokes.

I started off with the Logitech ATK3, which served me excellently till august when I got my saitek stuff

 

AND GET ADDONS!!!

Get addons or else FSX will look like poo, have poo  planes and stuf..

My reccomendations: (get during xmas for like 70-80% off :) )

PMDG, Captainsim, ORBX, and search online for freeware or at simviation,com

That would not be to bad if I didn't get the pedals.

I do want to learn to fly, but don't have money to do it yet, so this is a close as I'll get for now

I do want to learn to fly, but don't have money to do it yet, so this is a close as I'll get for now

Skip the pedals and fly fsx for now but save up, IT IS WELL WORTH IT. I don't regret a penny.

The game is still good even from 2006?

Also, where t buy it?

None of thoes are avalible. I found the non gold edition, what are the differences

One more thing, would you say the game is pretty realistic, having flown a real plane?

No, not very realistic, but still fun and sorta helps with real flying concepts.

Gold has the expansion pack that adds more missions and aircraft which is what I did.
