Pretty much all games require you to have one copy per person..... 

 

You can have one copy on one account and both use it, but you'd have to share a steam account for that.

Family sharing mate.

Only one of you can play at a time though.

You do this by logging to your friends PC with your account, then you go to steam, settings, family and sharing. There you can authorize that computer to use your games.

Note that while he is playing your games you will not be able to play, if you start playing he will need to quit in a certain amount of time.
