Introduction: 

Hey everyone, after a long time of being around the forum, watching other people's build log, and being inspired by everyone, I finally have started my first project with my cousin, as this is for him, and I will be making more builds later down the road! So to keep things short, call me Pho. I'm a 19 year old whose studying on DMIT (Digital Media & IT) & my cousin, Nam, who will be going into Animation Design. All of these designs were made from him, I'm quite proud to see how well his drawings has become. This is our first time building a computer, & a table (somewhat of a first time) and there will be probably a lot of errors so be patient with me please and thank you!

Currently waiting on PSU & SSD to arrive, since it was cheaper than buying it at my nearby retailer, but it won't be for a while until I finish making the table, so I'm not exactly in a rush. 

 

Estimated time to finish the table will 2 - 3 weeks more or less. 

 

The Design:

 

So the table will mainly be made out of Wood, however the section of where all parts are going to be place in, will be steel or aluminium. I am not the greatest at making 3D Renders. So have fun looking at this crappy version of what I expect it to turn out later on. 

 

& I plan on cutting on the front leg of the desk, on both sides with this design. I will also put LED's on the legs to illuminate the design as well. 

 

The theme of this build is Black & Blue. I will be changing things down the road if necessary, hope you enjoy this build log!

So because we got lucky on Black Friday, we were able to get almost every single component. Only left is PSU, SSD & Monitor!

It's the table itself I don't use Sketchup enough and still learning on it, so I didn't put 3D renders of the parts into the table. But on the centre of the table is where I'll place it all inside of.

When I get better, I'll be putting in a better version of it

I thought that with the recent/upcoming update that they were putting a patch to fix that problem?

Yeah, Sata 3 Native ports, AHCI, I actaully bought 1 250 and 1 500. both performed 1/2  of advertised speeds on 2 computers. (One was Intel 17 4770k the other was a FX 8350)
