Not sure if this should go under the software section of the forum, but anyway I'm trying to use my new GTX 970 for Sony Vegas Pro 12 with CUDA. Unfortunately since the card is so new it doesn't look like I can use my gpu for video rendering. But would it be possible to add an older card (like a 560 or something) into my system and use that for rendering? Or would I have to take out my 970 every time I want to render?

Answered my own question in a previous thread.

EDIT: You can have 2 cards in your system to use for rendering as long as the software you have is able to select which card to use. In my case Sony Vegas can select which card to use in a drop down window.
