Hey, 

       Do you guys think I should get the intel tuning plan cause i'm a beginner to overclocking but will take precautions? Also, any tips for 4790k overclocking? Thanks!

The average user doesnt need it, only if you plan on pushing for 5 Ghz+

I can't emphasise that statement enough. I have a computer that I was using as a "server" and about once a fortnight, it'd BSOD. Couldn't figure out why, so ran at stock and still had issues. Turns out that the RAM was faulty but MemTest didn't pick it up and it took upwards of 40 hours on Prime95 to get an error. Turns out that the CPU that I thought I broke at some point is absolutely fine.

24 hours is a good starting point.....and when you get done do different tests from differnt programs.....just to make sure
