I can't emphasise that statement enough. I have a computer that I was using as a "server" and about once a fortnight, it'd BSOD. Couldn't figure out why, so ran at stock and still had issues. Turns out that the RAM was faulty but MemTest didn't pick it up and it took upwards of 40 hours on Prime95 to get an error. Turns out that the CPU that I thought I broke at some point is absolutely fine.

should i at least stress test it for 24 hours or more

24 hours is a good starting point.....and when you get done do different tests from differnt programs.....just to make sure
