Hi everyone,

I posted here a few days back with a build for my first pc I'm looking to buy here in the next few hours. I've made some adjustments to my pc and I'd just like someone on here to look it over and see if it's solid, since you guys typically seem to know what you're talking about and you give good advice.  :D

I'll be recording games, streaming, and video editing, along with school work.

Thanks. :)

That looks quite simply amazing, there is nothing I would change apart from I would look into 3Tb hydrid drive, they are surprisingly fast and the same price as hard drives and I personally don't see why everyone doesn't get them because mine are amazing

Mostly gaming, but I really wanna take up a recording hobby, and maybe a little bit of streaming. When I have the money I may go with multiple displays or a higher resolution one. It may be too much power for my uses at the moment, but I like to say you can never have enough power! :P

Quick question regarding the CPU cooler. I don't plan on OCing right away, so do you think I would absolutely need one without OCing? I plan on getting a cooler in the near future, just for the sake of nice chilly parts, but would you say it's absolutely necessary to use one if I'm not OCing?

Why 8.1 Pro?

How do you plan to cool the cpu?

I urge you to go Seasonic or EVGA Supernova G2 on your PSU.

I'm looking at this SeaSonic X-850 since it's only 3 bucks more. Is that a good PSU?

I don't plan on OCing at the moment, and from what I've researched the stock cpu cooler is good enough to get the job done if I don't OC.

Mainly getting 8.1 Pro in hopes that MS will throw 8.1 users a bone and let them upgrade to Windows 10 on a heavy discount/for free. :P

It's true that if you aren't overclocking you don't need a aftermarket cooler but it is much easier to get a very good air cooler for $30 and install it whilst installing all other parts

True enough about the stock cooler.

It is your money . . . and MS is sure to find a way to lay its hands on it :) .
