Hey guys,

What are your thoughts on this particular headset? I see a ton of a mixed reviews for it and I would love to hear about your personal opinions about it. I just ordered one off of Amazon, so it's not too late to cancel it if the majority downvotes it.

Thanks.

no dont buy headsets. buy some open headphones and a mic

I wanted a wireless headset that wouldn't kill my pocket haha. Kept getting tangled with my wired one.

I'm getting one soon.  :P

I tried grabbing one in stores and price matching it but it was black friday weekend. I wanted to try them out before I ordered it on Amazon since they had it for 70 USD.

I've had mine for a little over two years and I wear them pretty much 24/7. I wear them all day every day (other than going outside of course) and sleep in them. They have a VERY solid plastic construction and they look pretty much brand new other than the pads. The battery life while listening to music is about 5-7 hours on a full charge, I don't think I've ever gotten a full 10 hours other than not listening to anything half the day. The audio quality is pretty good other than the bass (which is pretty much non-existent). The microphone quality is acceptable but nothing to be excited about. Overall they're a great headset for $70 (got mine for $100), but if I were in the market to buy some headphones I'd get something like ATH-M50's and a modmic. That being said, I don't think you can get a better wireless solution for the money.

I agree with not buying a headset rather a good quality headphone with a clip on mic or a standard webcam mic

That's the reason why I'm grabbing the wireless headset. I wanted a headset that I didn't have to take off every time I leave my chair. I thought about grabbing a really good pair of headphones with a modmic before but I want that wireless convenience haha.

Yup, I love walking around my house/making food or coffee/laying in bed with them on. It's really annoying having to take headphones off every few minutes and interrupting whatever you're listening to. If I'm listening to a podcast or something and I'm hungry, I can just walk into the kitchen and make food while listening to it.

Do you have problems pairing the headset at all? I saw a few reviews that said that it would cut in and out a lot.

I did have to change some router settings about two years ago because it did cut in and out a lot but it was super easy. There is an issue where whenever it dies and I turn it back on twice (without plugging it in right after turning it on the first time), it doesn't turn back on and I have to leave it charging for a few hours. Another thing is when I want to turn it on, most of the time I have to unplug the charger but I think both of these issues are isolated and I think there's just something wrong with my battery considering its been used for ~12,000 hours.

Hmm, that battery issue does sound a tad bit annoying. Hopefully it's not present in all of the 930s. I should be getting mine in the mail soon, so we'll see! If not, I can always return them haha.
