Fraps Problem

I have a pentium g3258 and a hd 7870. When i use fraps to see my fps( NOT TO RECORD) i see it locked at 60 fps on games like black flag and far cry 3. MY vsync is off in amd catalyst and the game. But then when i go to league it actually shows 300 fps. I do have a shitty monitor but my good one is arriving tomorrow could that be it if not what is?

Maybe you are actually getting 300 fps. If not FRAPS can be weird to certain games. Let me know if this is happening after you get your new monitor.

No you missunderstood me fraps in league shows me 300 fps but in other games locked at 60.

Make sure that FRAPS isn't set to limit the target to 60fps.

Yes as Tedster said make sure you aren't locked in other games. That could be causing the problem.

No because it shows me 300 in league maybe is that vsync is off but is still on somehow?

These 2 games are buggy or programmed to run like that? Idk I don´t owe them.
