Had this problem before :). I figured out you need to click that half-hexagon icon beside the "profile". That'll change it to advance mode.

Hmm, nevermind. Click the settings button and go to the tuning tab. Under Display properties, check fan1.

don't bother with GPU tweak download MSI afterburner instead...it is much better, If the fan on your card is controllable you will be able to set up a custom fan profile.

you could try speed fan, but i can't say for sure it will work, could be that the fan has no fan control built in.

Laptop GPUs fan can't be controlled. This is done on purpose to ensure no overheating which can damage the system. Running super hot for a while, let's say you force the fan at lower speeds, can desolder components or damage them over time, especially in such tight space. We see such issue already with hot GPUs in our desktop. This is to reduce repairing (more like changing the main board of the laptop, which is usually the entire system, which is very costly for the manufacture) laptops. Also, in many laptops, the GPU and CPU heatsink and fan are shared. Meaning you have 1 heasink and 1 fan to cool off your GPU, CPU, and motherboard chipset.

If the fan does not spin up, when the system is hot, that means the thermal sensor on the main board is broken, and should be fix. Contact the manufacture of the laptop for warranty repair.

If you can, your laptop probably has a separate GPU cooling solution, and replaceable, and the OEM is VERY nice.
