Uhm no, please stay away from those sliders, and it's not a joke, you might fuck up your card

i have stock coolers and 2 case fans, and an asus direct cuii r7 260x.

is it ok to max out all the sliders in afterburner

(power limit, core clock, memory clock)

NO, do not just max out the sliders. if you do with voltage, you will wreck your card. with core clock and mem, maxing them out with simply crash your computer

No, don't just "max out" your card. When overclocking, you will want to do it in incremental steps. This ensures stability and safety.

 

In fact, the only card that is safe to max out the sliders on is the Radeon HD 5670 GDDR5 non OC version. This card is soo underclocked from the factory and the sliders don't move far, so its the only "safe" card to do this. Every other card requires some TLC.

Pretty sure the card would have safeguards, so maxing out all sliders would probably just cause a crash, but it's better safe than sorry. You should only raise the voltage when your clocks are getting unstable, temperatures aren't out of hand and you want to push it further. Do everything in small steps.

You can max out voltage and power limit no problem (so as long as you stay within the safe voltage aka dont flash a new bios) (it will only heat your card up more) other than heating it up it allows you to increase your clocks more (core and memory).

Run a benchmark and slowly increase one at a time ( +10 on core after each successful benchmark first until you reach instability whereby the benchmark crashes when you try to run it or you see artifacts )

Do the same for memory but you can increase it slightly more each time (+20mhz for memory )

After that i would suggest backing off 20 mhz for both clocks and run the benchmark for around 30 minutes (go take a shower or smth) and comeback and see whether your card is able to run at the clocks for that amount of time

I personally got my card up to 1200mhz on core and 1600mhz on memory but i decided to back off to 1140,mhz on core (my games crashes at 1200mhz and i see artifacts from 1190 to 1150) and 1580mhz on memory due to instability issues.
