Detachable Microphones

Will any of the detachable microphone replacements offered by Turtle Beach for their headset or the one from V-Moda (BoomPro Mic) or BeyerDynamic work with the Kingston HyperX Cloud? I understand that the Cloud's microphone is one of its weak points and I was wondering if these options (or something else) might be compatible with it.

Oh, from my experience I thought the Hyper X Cloud sounded a little bit tinny and soft. Is there any way to improve microphone quality?

I think they sound soft because they have a higher impedance than most other headsets/headphones so they require more power to drive. So depending on the quality of your motherboards audio they probably won't sound that soft. Logan from Tek Syndicate mentions this in his video:
