Valley Benchmarking

Hey so I just got my 970 in the mail YAY, anyway I went to run the Valley Benchmark on it although this is my first time using it, for some reason for the first minute or so the benchmark stays around 5 frames or lower even on the lowest setting,

Is this normal? should I just wait a bit and it will fix itself?

 

Edit: It is lasting longer than a minute normally once it starts moving around a lot I drop to 1 fps even on basic

Did you install the appropriate driver?

Is the monitor plugged into the card or have you perhaps left it plugged into the motherboard?

Thanks, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers that seems to fix it
