Ok first off here's my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/doubled241/saved/gJbypg

Now, I've RMA'd my graphics card twice the first was DOA and the second had a god awful loud buzzing sound.  I just received my 3rd card and it is buzzing also so I'm starting to think its not my card that is the problem.  The "buzzing" sound is so darn loud i can hear it through my headphones while I'm playing a game.  The only thing I can think of that would be wrong is my PSU is just not big enough as asus states on the box that you should have a minimum of a 500 watt PSU.  Could my card just not be getting all the juice that it needs when its under load.  Or is there something else im missing? Any help is appreciated! :(

P.S:  I would upload a sound file for you to hear it but the file is too big.

Maybe the card is hitting something because of the vibration caused by the fans spinning?

If your RMAed the card 3 times, the card itself isn't the problem.

I'm suspecting all the "moving" parts inside the PC.

It could be the fans.

EMI

electro magnetic interference. could be your pc case, or mobo sound. either way a sound card will fix that. you can get of for about $25

my case has the same issue. try the front audio if your using the back. or vice versa

That's also what i thought at first but i've made sure all the fans are clear of wires, etc. and its much much louder then a vibration.

It may be the PSU. In my silent pc I use a stethoscope to find out where noises are coming from. Maybe you should try that. You needn't touch anything with it. Just listen.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

this is not the issue its not a sound issue itself its the fact i can hear this buzzing noise through my headphones not over my headphones

i can hear its coming from the graphics card what also makes my think its the psu is that when i run 3d mark it gets to the combined physics and graphics test and the thing just buzzes through the whole thing and correct me if im wrong but that would draw more power from the cpu as well as the gpu so thats why i think the card buzzes more than say if its just doing the graphics test by itself what do you think?

And when at idle my pc is silent all i hear are the fans running
