Custom loops tend to perform a little better, but it will depend on the components used. They allow for future expansion and look much nicer if done well.

AIOs like the Kraken x61 are good if you just want the performance to overclock the CPU and don't want to build the loop yourself. They're often better value too.

EDIT: Custom loops are more of a hobby type thing, rather than actually being for performance. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're going to enjoy doing it and want to make your rig look nice.

How much money does water cooling a CPU cost?

With a custom loop you should be prepared to spend $400+ for decent quality parts that will not leak.

Do you have any Idea how much that will cost and how to do it for a first time builder like me.(not exactly a first time builder, i am familiar with dealing with hardware but not watercooling).

The 220x is about $150-200 i think, and red cooling goes for about $10-20 a bottle. One bottle will be enough.

There are plenty of youtube tutorials that show how to replace the coolant in an h220x, hopefully that wont be too difficult.
