I have come up with two designs, one Intel and the other AMD. My max budget is $2800, I need a keyboard, monitor, and windows 7 64bit. I purposely chose 1080p with the r9 295x2 for the fps I will be getting with games like bf4 and similar titles and even though we don't know what the requirements will be star citizens. I also play indie games like factorio among others. I live in the Us and would like to keep everything bought from NewEgg to keep things simple and not from multiple different companies.

If you have any suggestions on how to make thees better please fill free to suggest

You can add your own peripherals etc.

SLI 970 will use way less power and have better performance.

This is all WAY overkill for just playing games. It's your money so spend it how you want.

System: Thinkpad T460
