Which 7950?

So there is just a £10 difference between these two cards. 
 

The gigabyte is overclock edition and is £10 cheaper than the asus. 

The asus is the dcii top oc and is the v2 but is £10 more.

Which one is better for performance, cooling, noise and maybe overclocking further. I understand there voltage locked.

Windfore if you like sleeker and more low profile cars, I think it will run cooler. Maybe not. If you like the look of Direct CU than get that. It's huge

It will be easier to add a second WF3 than a second DCUII if you intend to ever go crossfire in the future, as not all motherboards have the required spacing between 16x slots for two 3 slot cards.

Iv had the Windforce cooler on my gtx 670 and i found it quiet loud at first

I think gigabyte cards have voltage lock.So you cant oc it as much as asus card.

Theres a fourth version?. I was thinking about getting the msi twin 3 as it was the same price as the gigabyte card however there has been so many bad reviews about the fans spinning up 100% at idle.

I have the Sapphire Vapor X OC and i love it. Very cool temps and no noise at all (when fans are at 50% or below). If you overclock it a lot fans will be spinning at 60%+ and you can hear it a lot but on stock they run at 20%. Disadvantage is that there is no water block for this card if you want to water cool in the future, because it has a custom pcb. No coil whine whatsoever.

Edit: It is neither a 2 slot card or a 3 slot card. It is a bit bigger than 2 slots so crossfire could be an issue with some motherboards.

 

2nd Edit: Mine is voltage UNlocked but it is the one with two 8-pin connectors. There is an older version with one 6-pin and one 8-pin that IS voltage locked.

Yh i have a matx case so i couldnt crossfire with the asus but I dont think i would want to go crossfire because of all the problems plus there isnt much need as the 7950 is pretty powerful.

My 680 doesn't justify being a tri slot card, so I'd raise my eyebrow at anyone who got a tri slot 7950, unless it was really cheap.

I wont be getting the gigabyte 7950. Ive found msi 7950 for £13 cheaper than the asus so i might go for that one. Thanks for everyones help

The directcu2 is broken on that card and will overheat. Twinfrozr or the sapphire sexy time cooler.

If you care about the noise level do not get a twin frozer i have 7950 twin frozer and its way to loud for me wish i could replace it.

My HD7950 Vapor-X with Boost is cool and quiet even when on load, not to mention fast and cheap as hell. :P
