GTX 660 core clock problem.. Need Help

I am using a GTX 660 (non ti) from Evga and i have a big problem whit it.

 

GTX 660 Specs

 

Core clock, MHz - 954

Memory clock, MHz - 3005

 

When i am gaming demandng games like BF 3/4 and Crysis 3, my core clock dips down to 632 MHz. I have tried to overcklock it (didint work), i wrote a new bios (didint work) and i tried to "unlock" it whit nvflash (didint work).

So now i need help form you pc elitist from the Linus Tech Tips  forum.

PS: my GPU temps tops at 72 degres celcius

.nvm, I thought it would be thermals, idk man. Try drivers?

try the temp limit set in evga precision, turn it up to 100C maybe ?? sounds like a temperature limit

Did you try to update or reinstall the driver? If you do this, remember to do a clean install, byr chosing to do a custom install and checking the boz that says "perform clean install".

Do a clean driver reinstall and Evga tool, if that doesn't help then try to increase the temp limit as said above, because that sounds exactly what thermal throttle does, turns down to clock because of temp issues.
