Need a recommendation for SSD

I'll be going for a 256 Gig SSD and I have my eyes on the Crucial MX ones. However, it doesn't really fit well with my red/black theme and I would like to know if there are alternatives. I can't afford to go overboard with top of the line performing SSDs like the Samsung 840 Pros, those would simply break my wallet. 

 

Any suggestions?

OCZ AMD R7 if you want to stay with your theme but as I always say SSD's arent worth it

had an sp900, it was actually pretty bad. Didn't come close to rated speed.

My SX900 is still preforming at 450MB/s. And I have destroyed it.

That uses a better controller, mine had reads of 415 writes of about 230 40000 iops each side

Huh. It does? I would not think that the newer one is a downgrade.

I notice that the SX900 is the one Linus uses even in his newer videos.

the sp might be newer but it's also cheaper for a reason, I know this. Adata told me on facebook. lol

I'll go for the Sandisk perhaps. Seems to be getting a lot of love (apart from the Crucial and Samsung of course)
