Verizon LG G3 Issues

Spook_

So about two months ago I purchased my first lg g3 smartphone for Verizon. In the course of two months I've had 2 of these devices fail, first to an overheating issue where it got unbearably hot even when not in use, sitting on the charger, and the second stopped accepting touch inputs after a week of use. I don't know what I've done to deserve this kind of luck but as you may have guessed I'm extremely unhappy with the g3. From what I can tell Verizon will just continue to replace my device which is not only time consuming but leaves me without a device for days at a time. So my question is, does anyone know if its possible for me to switch my device to the turbo? Any help or input of any kind would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

So my only option to rid myself of this lg nightmare is to pay Verizon more money?
