From owning Vengeance 1500s, they are fine as headphones and as a headset. The speakers seem fine, but I am personally a fan of Logitech's offerings, so check them out as well.

Headset is decent, you can make better ones (Look at TekSyndicate's better headset under $50 video). 

 

No comment on speakers, look cheap / unexceptional but as long as you go into it knowing that you'll be fine.
