When I boot into the SecureErase CD it just comes up with a blank box with no text. Does anyone know what I meant to do.

Someone wrote you need to enter the command lines segui0.exe /2 to change the font or something but if you haven't got any writing at all will this help.

Do you mean Secure Erase on the Samsung Magician software on SSDs?

Pretty sure Samsung just has drivers for their optical drives.

You can try reinstalling the program if you think it's corrupted...

Erases everything on your ssd instead of writing over everything which will kill your SSD. I got passed that bit but now it says the password was wrong or something after the frozen state section.

Got confused because of that^

 

 

Erases everything on your ssd instead of writing over everything which will kill your SSD. I got passed that bit but now it says the password was wrong or something after the frozen state section.

That isn't possible it's in DOS. It doesn't matter though because I gave up. It's a crappy piece of badly designed software. Most things like this are. If you have to change the font to get the font to either be legible or to even appear there is something wrong with the software.
