Tinting the side panel

I have some left over black car tint lying around and I was wondering if I can put that on my side panel window. Would that create any problems inside like maybe static or anything?

I have some left over black car tint lying around and I was wondering if I can put that on my side panel window. Would that create any problems inside like maybe static or anything?

 

I've seen others tint their side panel windows without issues, for static it's be more of an issues with acrylic since it can build up a static charge other than the tint itself, but it's not too much of a worry since the computer is grounded.
