I'm done trying to convince people that the 8000 series cards are already here. Listening to "leaks" rather than AMD themselves.

Not sure what you mean as pointed out by WhatARoaster.

The specs are on AMD's website but I'm not entirely sure how those specs relate to ltc mining and gaming fps.

The 8000 series is just rebranded 7000 series cards for OEMS. They are the exact same.

So amd isn't making any new cards? and the specs of the new cards seem different.

They are SKIPPING the 8000 series for consumer desktop cards.

The 8000 series are OEM only, OEM branded cards are almost always a generation behind.

They are supposedly making a new generation of cards which will be the 9000 series. Just waiting for announcements.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
Users cannot, and will not securely manage key material. Most users can't and the ones that can, wont.

Ask me about Bitcoin, Litecoin, Crypto-Currencies, and/or Mining them.

Think I should wait or just go ahead and go for the current 7950?

These "leaks" are false. Any "leaks" related to the "8000 series" next gen cards are wrong. We don't know how AMD's next gen cards are going to perform.

As other people are saying any leaks relating to the 8000 are false, absolutely nothing has been confirmed about them yet. Although AMD have said a few things on twitter suggesting that they might be unveiling something new at E3 so you might want to wait to see what that's about before buying a new card.

Depends on your budget, but a 7950 is a decent card.

A mind, sharpened on the shards of disappointment.

Wait till new series come out. Get 7950 for cheaper. Maybe 7970 if it really drops in price.

Profit.
