Difference Between Processors (AMD/Intel)

I had a hard time choosing a processor between Amd and Intel

Can someone help me?

Whats the difference between Amd and Intel

My thought about this, is that amd is less expensive thus more wattage/heat output while intel is expensive thus more durable

For gaming, Intel is better hands down. Intel has much stronger individual cores, which games take a massive advantage of.

If you want good price/performance (below $150, AMD doesn't really have high end) for heavily multithreaded tasks, AMD is generally better.

Intel is lower amount of ,but more powerfull cores.

Amd is lots of cores, but weaker ones.

 

Depends on what you need. Gaming does (today) only require one /two cores. Whilst rendering would benefit from multiple cores.

They do use more cores,depends on the game, but 3-4 is no rare, but Intel is better for gaming

AMD for multitasking ( I am not talking about watching youtube while facebooking, I am talking many many programs)

You also have to take into consideration that the AMD FX line is very old.

Every app you use (e.g. Photoshop, Google Chrome) may use one or two cores, just like Battlefield 4 should. Some other intensive games may go as far as using all four cores (if you have a quad-core CPU, such as the Intel Core i7-4770K).
