I'm buying parts as I get paychecks, weekly while paying some bills so, this is a build in progress, should probably finish in a month and be ready to use for the main components, next week, not sure If I will use it though, until everything is done. Also I'm not going to say what I'm getting next, I will just add pictures to the build log as I get them. :) I'm going with a red, blue, black theme, everything will be sleeved and super cable tidy :)

Here is what I have so far.

P.S. The tissues are for my allergies.

I'm not the greatest photographer so bare with me, using a Note 2, if anyone has a recommendation for taking better pictures with it, please let me know. Not the greatest lighting in the room either.

Moaaaar pics incoming :D

I love that the Mobo and RAM metallic red matches perfectly :D

Edit: Some pictures of newly purchased items.

I have everything now besides my new video card, which I'm purchasing this weekend or next weekend, either a 760 or 770. Depending on if the guy buying my old PC pulls through or not. Anyways, I had to use one of the PSU cables on the video card because the card I plan to buy has 8+6, my old 260 only has 6+6, I removed the old flaming EVGA stickers and I think it turned out pretty good, besides a little residue that just wouldn't come off.

That's what the 260 used to look like. I'm also planning on buying some red wire loom for the PSU cables to the grommet and using some double sided tape or Velcro to put the SSD on the back panel of the case but in sight so the cables will show :P Needs a little more TLC but I'm happy so far.

I can tell it's going to look and perform great. Typical red and black theme though but it'll still look good! Haha, and we'll pretend the tissues are for your allergies. Mine are too ...

Their will be blue in their :D Lots of it, Blue is my favorite color, I just couldn't find an amazing looking blue board for Z77 or Z78 around 100-160, I hate the Asus multi colored blue boards =/

It will kind of have a Superman feel to it, wish I could finish it by this week with the movie coming out >.<

Oh haha, not bad then! MSI make blue boards too though. Like the MSI Z77A-GD65 unless that's not the blue you're looking for. Haha, that would've been pretty sick though. Too bad :P

Yeah so do Gigabyte on their UD3 boards.

I'm interested to see how you will integrate blue in the colour scheme :).

Just ordered a Samsung 840 and a TX 650 PSU, next week in the processor and i'll be using my 260's in it for a couple weeks after that, gonna hold off on the 770 for a little bit.

What 770 are you going for? I know that I'm going to buy the EVGA ACX 770 for my build.

Not 100% Sure yet. One with a 6Pin / 8Pin setup. Either the EVGA dual fan model or maybe the 4GB Gigabyte card, seems like a good deal, only 50 dollars more instead of 100.

I made a post in the air cooling section of this, My 140 went in fine, both of my 120's got ruined, so I had to use zip ties, you can't see the zip ties from anywhere but it bugs me that I know they are there. I haven't used my SP120's yet so we'll see, I'm going to use them on my H100i whenever I get it, hopefully they go in fine, but most likely will end up zip tying them. P.S. Never buying those fans again, until the crappy rubber grommet design is fixed. One tip that someone told me that helped a very tiny bit, was pre threading the holes before you put them on your case, I suggest doing this like 10 times while holding the rubber down tightly, and trying not to break it free or twist it off. Like I did.

If your doing a multi monitor go for the 4GB one, if not go for the EVGA version. That's just my opinion though, either way the 4GB will help.

I don't think I'm going to do Nvdia Surround, but I'm going to have two monitors, not sure if it will help in that situation really, just one for viewing stuff while still viewing the game, etc.

Yeah so really the 4GB wont be needed, but its still nice to have and will increase performance by some,

So I've bought some new things, 1 is a 2550K because my local frys was selling it for only 135 bucks! Saved about 100 dollars for minus 10% performance stock but more performance when safely and cool overclocks, got it to 4.5 Ghz atm at max 63 C on the H90 i bought for 65 bucks at frys.

I don't want to take pictures yet because I'm using my two old gtx 260's in it at the moment :( so it looks ugly =/ going to be a couple weeks before I buy a gpu, maybe I should pay some bills lol
