Hey,

I am planning to build my very first PC for Christmas and I will be using it for schoolwork, graphic designing, video editing, gaming, and hardcore web browsing(so many tabs). My budget is around $2000 dollars and I live in the United States. I will be running 2 1080p monitors with a 4k monitor coming soon(not included). My peripherals are already bought which are a Corsair K70 Keyboard Cherry MX Blue and the Razer Taipan. The OS i am using is Windows 8.1 Pro which is already purchased too. Finally,I'm upgrading cause my dell laptop can not handle anything I throw at it(rendering, gaming). One Question is the power supply enough for the build because I will be overclocking the graphics cards, processor, and RAM with 6 Noctua A14 140mm 2000PWM Fans. Please give me your opinion of this build. Thank you! :D

Get the EVGA G2 750W instead of the RM750

RIG: I7-4790k @ 4.5GHz | MSI Z97S SLI Plus | 12GB Geil Dragon RAM 1333MHz | Gigabyte G1 Gaming GTX 970 (1550MHz core/7800MHz memory) @ +18mV(Maxed out at 1650/7800 so far) | Corsair RM750 | Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, 1TB Seagate Barracuda | Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 (Closed) | Sound Blaster Z                                                                                                                        Getting: Noctua NH-D15 | Possible 250GB Samsung 850 Evo                                                                                        Need a console killer that actually shits on every console? Here you go (No MIR/Promo)

This is why you should not get an FX CPU for ANY scenario other than rendering on a budget http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/286142-fx-8350-r9-290-psu-requirements/?p=3892901 http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/266481-an-issue-with-people-bashing-the-fx-cpus/?p=3620861

Everything is fine beside the psu.Get this is a little more but it does have all the connectors you need

Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes, and the longer kept. Abused patience turns to fury.

EVGA 220-G2-0750-XR is a much better psu than the RM-750. It has all required connectors and should provide sufficient power for the build even with overclocking. If you want a little more headroom you could consider EVGA 220-G2-0850-XR.

While the EVGA G2 psu are currently considered the best value (excellent quality at a very good price), there are other units you might consider: XFX P1-750B-NLG9 (dated, in fact discontinued, but excellent buy); SeaSonic SSR-750RM; XFX P1-750B-BEFX; SeaSonic SS-760XP2.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Probably quite a bit out of your budget as it would require you to get a X99 mobo and DDR4 RAM, both of which are considerably more expensive.

If you want ddr4 so badly for rendering and what work you will do later on then yes.But you will get way over 2000 because the new platform is expensive along with the mb and ramn(not so much but still) for games is not really needed
