So I live in PA and I have a fedex account for everything I ship.  I ship very often and sometimes it confuses me.

35lb PC insured for 1300 to New Mexico: $47.50

20lb PC insured for 300 to Florida: $17.02

42lb PC insured for 500 to CA: 45.12

25lb PC insured for 200 to CA: 33.77

Then the kick

4lb Mobo insured for 200: $17.50

 

So an item that travels 2-3 times the distance, weighs 1/5 the amount costs $0.48 more???

If you're shipping cross border and use UPS ground, then you will randomly be hit by a charge of at least $30 for something called brokerage. I got hit with a $40 brokerage charge on a $60 package. I'm never using UPS again.

since I obviously live at the end of the earth ... somethings cost alot and take alot of time.

but saying that I've got things from the usa within 5 days

 

current annoyance ordered a shirt online expected delivery time is 2 months  <_<

Free shipping from Hong Kong for something thats like 60 cent, 5€ for the same device over here to be shipped from a 40 minute drive into the city. Both where no name generic brands of the same cable.
