So, I bought some new RAM, Corsair Dominator Platinums. While it was on its way here I ran my system on 2x4GB 1333MHz G.Skill Ripjaws. My new ram is 4x4GB 1866MHz. However when I go into the BIOS of my Rampage IV Extreme, it still registers as 1333MHz, 16GB however. I payed a lot of money for those extra 600MHz, and I plan to use them. Is there something really dumb I am missing here? (please don't judge my stupidity, I just got done working 18 hours) Thanks in advance for all and any help.

Enable XMP in the BIOS.

Well i feel like a bumbling idiot now... :( Thanks for the help. Turns out in these new UEFI BIOSs, you need to be in basic mode to turn on XMP. Here I am looking through the "Advanced" menus for 20mins wondering what the hell I'm doing wrong.

:) Don't worry, I had the same experience as you.
