Hello,

In the next couple of days I will be purchasing my new PC.  This computer will be used for light gaming, Video and photo editing, graphic design, and storage.  How well does this fit into my uses?  I am intending to add another GTX 970; or not if I don't need it.  Would this be better suited for my needs?

What would be the best $400-$600 1440p or 4k monitor, to be used with this computer and for these uses?

Thanks

They are great except for mobo and RAM. Both of them are wasting money simply for the "cool" factor of having a more expensive product that does the same thing as a cheaper one. Get an MSI Z97 G45 Gaming motherboard and HyperX Fury RAM.

Go for a 970. It's not worth it to pay almost twice as much for a 980 and get ~30% more performance.

I would get the first one, and replace the psu with a evga g2 750w. The qnix qx2710 is a good 1440p monitor. Get a corsair h105 instead of the h100i.

Thanks for the recommendation on the psu, makes sense.  Why the h105 to the h100i?  Performance difference?

I want the five year warranty on the Mobo, as I will be using this build for a while.  So this?  Can you link the RAM?  There are several Kingston HyperX branded kits.  I found this, but I don't know if this is it.

I would take a Cryorig R1, Noctua NH-D14/D15 or Dark Rock Pro 3 over a CLC, cause then you'll have to worry less about things like pump failing or leaks, but that's just me.

You don't really need a five year warranty on the mobo if you get a decent one. As long as it's not a Biostar or something, if you don't do anything stupid with your mobo it will last you a lot longer then ten years.

And yes, that is the RAM I was referring to, the HyperX Fury. It comes in four different colors as well as different size and speeds, so take your pick on which set you feel is best for you.

Which mATX mobo do you recommend?  I was going to buy an MSI mobo, then I read the reviews on Newegg (I know most people only post a review if they hate the product, or something has failed.

I do like the CLC design, and this case it literally built for them.

I can always add another 16gb kit later if I feel I need it.

Ok, you're going with an 8x2 kit now?
