Fractal Design Node 304 Powersupply

Go to solution Solved by razor767,

Pretty sure the RM550 will not fit, the modular cables will conflict with the graphics card.

If you want a fully modular PSU that will fit:

If you don't mind a semi modular psu:

With black friday coming up, as well as a need for a portable gaming/streaming pc, I need help.

I was wondering, with a MSI GTX 970 TF V, if I could fit a Corsair RM 550 powersupply in with it?

I know it will be tight, but i am kinda worried that the modular cables will make it impossible.

So the main question - will a mix of

Node 304

RM 550

MSI GTX 970 TwinFrozr V

be compatible?

Also - if possible, a link to a video/picture showing a full sized gpu with that case and a modular 160mm psu.

And if it doesn't fit, please link me to a reliable shorter powersupply, preferably modular.

Thank you

Go watch linus's review of it

The silverstone is quite expensive, so definitely not that one.

But the CS550 is quite nice when it comes to price, but I have heard about corsairs low end being unreliable.

I don't mind semi modular psus as long as i can plug off the sata power and molex power.

Edit:
Just went into jonnyguru and looked over a cs550m review, which looks to be a good powersupply. Now i just need to find out if it has any weird coil whine or so. Thanks for the help, i will mark this as solved.
