AMD PCIe lanes are not CPU-based, they are based on the chipset, as AM3+ still uses a northbridge, so just saying "yes" isn't a correct answer, because only 990X and 990FX boards support SLI. If OP has an 8350 with a 780, 890, 970, etc. board then it won't be supported.

To be fair that is an updated board that was only recently released with Haswell and Z87. He was correct in saying 970 chipset doesn't support sli as for years and years it never did.

You're going to bottleneck dual 970s with that CPU.
