Windows 10 update issue (I think)

So I went to change the settings for updating on my netbook, but I had a kind of error message, I guess, coming up saying something about an administrator. So... How the hell do I fix this? If it takes very much work, I'll just jump ship and go back to Linux.

I've been using the tech preview on my surface pro 3 since it came out, never had an issue with it.

As far as I know I am the admin.

I am indeed the admin. Also noticed that the charms will only come up when I do the WIN+C combo, even though it is set to come up when I go in the corner.
