Far Cry 4 Hardware

I have an AMD FX 4100 and a Radeon 7850 and I can run BF4 on Ultra at about 30-40 FPS. Any opinions as to if I can run it on medium-high settings at ~50 FPS.

Not sure if it is more demanding or less demanding compared to BF4 but you'll be fine mate, the CPU is a little crap though.

You might be able to get that 60FPS mark, but it might be straight medium settings and with no AA? I'll see if I can find anymore benchmark.s

Thanks. I looked at the Game Debate requirements and they say you need an AMD FX 8350 and an R9 290X which are some of eh best CPUs and GPUs that AMD makes. That seems like overkill so I think I will be fine on medium settings at around 50 FPS. I'll probably be fine but I may wait until Black Friday or Cyber Monday to get an AMD FX 8350 or 8370 if I can find them for the right price. If I get a new one I'd like to get a good one that will last several years.

Yeah I know. I built it going into college and I was on a budget. I'm looking at slowly making it awesome though.

I would like to add that turning off AA and V-Sync does a lot.

Undoubtedly, I can't play games that use V-Sync, I just use RadeonPro now to set a software limit of ~70FPS on all of my games.
