So today i got back from School and decided to play some Good old Minecraft. To be more specific - moded minecraft. So i started the ATL launcher, and when i started a new instance - nothing happened. So i decided to reinstall java. Since then i'm having troubles installing the java back. I tried deleting temp folder, runnining the installer with "run as administrator". The problem is that when i start up the java installer it crashes, or it does nothing. Any help (without suggestions of reinstalling windows) would be nice.

p.s sorry if i did some grammar mistakes, english is not my native language.
p.p.s The problem solver will be gifted with a cs go skin (this is just for the motivation)

Since i'm a noob could anyone tell me how to add a photo to this post?

You may need to add Java to the path.

https://www.java.com/en/download/help/path.xml

As for uploading an image, you can use something such as imgur

http://imgur.com/

upload the file, then take the direct link, and paste it into your topic or reply.

I have Windows 7 64 bit. I can easily install the 64 bit java, but when i only have the 64 bit java, minecraft doesn't launch.

AFAIK You cannot have two versions of Java installed, check your Jvm arguments.

Well i had two versions of java and they both worked good. Until today

Try reinstalling 64 Bit?

Also try putting this as a JVM Argument "Xmx2G"

I'm going to put that to the test and come back with the results.

I am most likely wrong, but I remember something about not having 32-Bit installed to get a performance boost

Good news. I was able to install both the 32 bit version and 64 bit version simultaneously.

It should.  In fact, It should only launch if you have 64-bit Java.  I seem to remember not being able to launch Minecraft using 32-bit Java on my 64-bit machine.
