KDE all the way. I also like XFCE and XMonad though.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

I absolutely adore cinnamon, so easy to rice and fiddle with settings. Great keyboard shortcuts out of the box for productive multitasking and windowing options :D

I really should try something else one day though :P

There is no best as there is no bad desktop environment. It all boils down to individual preference. Each has its own uniqueness that makes it attractive to specific users (thus why there's dozens of them). So a poll for the best is just ludacris. I would of named the poll something more accordingly such as the most popular desktop environment.

I wanted people's opinion on best, so I could filter through and find the most popular/most reccomended.
