To be clear.Technically using 2 sticks or ram would be 2x64 bits which in turn doubles maximum theoretical bandwidth this is why is called "dual-channel" because you have 2 channels of 64 bits.In games there's not much of a use maybe max 1-3% maximum but if you have an integrated graphics card it can be a major improvement over a single channel because the data will need a wider bandwidth also when using an integrated graphics card the frequency is also very important.Is also useful for rendering
