So I am going to be building a computer using the h100i. I am only confused with corsair link. I want to use that so I have nicer cable management and don't have 6 fan wires connecting to the motherboard headers. However, how do I setup corsair link? by that I mean where do the cables on the pump connect.

the H100i has a USB cable that connects from the H100i to an internal USB header, and two fan cables that connect from two ports on the H100i to up to 4 PWM fans.

If you are concerned with it not looking pleasant. Don't set it up. I am pretty anal when it comes to cable management and a clean looking rig so when I set up my link with my h100i I immediately took it out. Not having a specific color on the h100i block was worth not having the mess of the cables. Really wasn't happy with the way corsair incorporated it.

I would avoid the H100i.  It is notorious for a mounting problem, so it is not guaranteed to work out of the box without modification, and the pump is very noisy.  Pair that with buggy software(Corsair Link) and its a real hit or miss product.  For those it works for, it works great, but there are a lot of people who have issues with it.  On this forum alone, we get about one post per day regarding bad performance because of mounting, noise because of pump, or corsair link problem.

If you live in the U.S., there are alternatives that don't have noisy pumps, mounting problems, or buggy software.  I recommend the Cooler Master Seidon 240M($75), Cooler Master Nepton 240M($115), Cooler Master Nepton 280L($99), Corsair H105($95), NZXT X61($130).  Make sure whatever you select fits in your case.  If you do end up going with the H100i, keep in mind that you might need to do the washer mod to get it to work properly.
