Oh boy where to start.

Get a different power supply. EVGA G2 is an excellent choice.

Don't go with those hard drives. If you're going with 1tb, go with the WD Blue as it's $20 cheaper, or the WD Black. Why not go with a 2tb drive? WD Green would be my suggestion there.

You don't need the $9 wireless module. Your motherboard has built in wireless.

What's the purpose of the build? If it's gaming I'd suggest looking into a better video card.

Do you really need such an expensive optical drive? Seems really overkill.

I plan on using it to play simulators and general pc uses, word, internet and similar

What kind of sims?

its good.

would change the motherboard to Z97 since you need a bios update to use a z87 motherboard with haswell refresh

My PC

i'll get the power supply and hard drive and what would you recommend for the video card and optical drive?

For the graphics card, I recommend anything after the 750ti. The 750ti is a really nice card for the money and everything after it pretty much kicks hiney

why such a weak GPU in a $1400 build. A 970 would be perfect for 1080p (ur mobo costs more than ur graphics card btw)

Haha. $230 mobo and  $150 GPU. Hilarious and totally not how you're supposed to do things.

You want a cheap mobo in the $130 region like the ASRock Extreme 4 or ASUS Z97A. Get yourself an R9 290 they're $250 in the USA now and it's a killer deal. Infinitely more powerful than the 750Ti.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.
