Playing at high resolution

Will it benefit me at all If I play a game (WoW specifically) at a higher resolution such as 2700x1400 something while my monitor is 1080p?

Gforce experience recommended those settings

since wow is cartoony graphics the boosted AA from higher res really improves it

So enabling cmaa AND the higher res, itwill improve a lot? And ssao

ssao is something you can take or leave. but yeah itll be crisper. but only do it if you have the horsepower to spare which you probably do with a 780

I'm bad at seeing the difference between this stuff, same goes for different bitrates and lossless against mp3. However, I'm one of those people that still wants the better option, even if that option is barely noticeable

The exact resolution is 2715x1527. It was a wild guess since I was on my phone and couldn't check the exact number at the time of making this topic.

Same here, my ears and brain can rest when I listen to flac (which I do 90% of the time), knowing that it's high quality and that there's no way it will sound bad.

hmm i'm a little the same way but i will try to find a difference. Maybe go in game and take some screenshots of certain areas and do the same on the higher resolution. Screenshots of trees etc. Compare them side by side.
