Somehow I managed to miss this. Mayhems posted this on the 25th of may.

Distilled water infused with silver @ 20nm.

Exculsive news for OCUK only reader of the forums -

Project Decimation **Not Official Name YET !!!!**

Work in progress ... In conjunction with our new partner we have produced an extremely special coolant for the purest out there. When we say purest, we mean the user who loves the thermal conductivity of water alone and then to add a silver kill coil for protection. What we have done is taken our Ultra-Pure H20 and ultra pure silver and smashed them together into Nano Tubes @ 20 nm to give you an Aurora Effect Real Silver Coolant. The partials used in our new coolant will never clog a system as they are so small they should even pass though filters that are currently used in water cooling systems. There is another benefit and that because we are using Silver Nano Tubes they can carry more heat than water alone making this new coolant one of the best thermal conductive coolant ever to hit the home user for liquids cooling. Another thing that will stand out is that the coolant has a possible 5 year “in system” life span if it is not contaminated.(the aurora effect will fade over time how ever the Thermal properties stay. this is due to ware and tear of the fluid.)
We recommend you do not use this coolant with Aluminium radiator’s or blocks as there is no inhibitor built into the fluid.

This fluid will be going out to testers in the next few days. There RRP for this fluid is not as cheap as normal fluids due to us useing real silver that is 100% pure silver and the process that is required to make the nano tubes. This is the most technological advanced liquid cooling fluid for PCs ever to hit the market and its brought to you by Mayhems.

Sounds expensive.

Yet another coolant made for showcase systems only.

Sounds cool if it actually works. I doubt the performance would be anything special though. The 5 year lifespan sounds really cool if its actually true. However, I highly doubt they have tested it for 5 years to actually know. Sounds more like a marketing gimmick then anything.

It's definitely not been tested for 5 years as they only purchased the machine to make it recently afaik

I doubt it has a 5 year lifespan and that doesn't mean you don't need to service your loop for 5 years either. You need to be worrying about your tubes etc.

We all know mayhem warranties are worth nothing anyways. They blame you if something goes wrong so even if yours doesn't last 5 years it will be your fault.

Seems like that's how it goes for a lot of companies that make water cooling stuff. Something goes wrong the company is nowhere to be found or they will put the blame on you or somebody else.

That's because absolutely nothing can go with with a radiator except if you ruin it yourself.

EK did screw up one with the nickel plating and they did accept warranty returns afaik.

With a coolant the only thing that can go wrong is the coolant itself.

Whats worrying about Mayhems is that they don't bother investigating before they assume its you. At least that's what happened to TTL.

Well I had a problem when my reservoir was leaking when I first got it. The company said it wasn't their problem and I should talk to the place I bought it from. The place I bought it from said to send it in on my dime and they would look at it but not replace it.

Some shady companies out there.
