Description GPU  - Started Arma 3 To test New Dual EVGA Superclocked 980s in SLI Put settings to Ultra and got 27 ish FPS avg not sure if bad optimization or my setup is having issues I am using 2 Cables to power both gpus with both cables having 2 six pin connectors on them (MY PSU IS 1050W).

Description CPU - My Cpu's Clock speed keeps varying between 1.16Gz to 3.40Ghz Is this intel's Power saving feature? If so where can I disable it. Is it thermal throttling? Any Ideas? Thanks~ post-82959-0-98630600-1416098419.png

Try a different game if you can

The CPU down clocks itself when it isn't doing anything intensive. If you wish you turn this off and only have it down clock when you're idling go into Power Options in the control panel under hardware and sound and change it to performance mode.

Try only using one of the GPU's.

Then try a different game.

If it's only Arma go into your settings and change something (Forget what it is called, quote this and i'll find it).

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

ik this might sound stupid but did you intstall the new drivers?

Yes I have All The drivers installed.

Arma 3 has bad optimization. try other games out if you want to be sure.

and yes the cpu clocks will go down if no heavy usage....its on the other haswells as well

I have thought about that I only have arma 3 installed at the moment I am waiting for the chance to pull some games from the living room pc.

I have the Power option set to "High performance but it's still doing it?

Try disabling one card and running single GPU and see if performance gets better/worse/same.
