I've got this really annoying noise in my pc, I only noticed it when I moved my pc on my desk after my PSU blew out and I got a new one.

I thought it was just because I moved my pc on my desk but someone pointed out coil whine in one of my other posts and brought it to mind.

I've looked at Linus' video on it and its not as loud as that but you can definitely hear it.

Thanks,

Jem

So what's the point of the thread?

Coil whine is cuz of your new psu.

It's caused ethier because of the psu or the gpu, it's harmless i believe, and i don't think there's a way of getting rid of it.

Ok thanks, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a wearing fault that would eventually screw everything up, thanks
