Windows folder size increasing?

I checked my Windows folder two days ago, it was 27-ish GB.

I checked it again yesterday, and it increased to 28.6GB.

Today I check again, and it's 30.4GB.

What's going on?

Is it a fresh install ? It could be updates.

It's probably just updates, temp files, cache files etc. I would suggest running a virus scan just in case.

This is perfectly normal as temp files build up and Windows Updates get stored there. Just run a disk cleanup every so often to keep it in check.

Use SpaceSniffer to check which file/folder use the most with real time update.
