Hey guys, so i was planning on building my own pc, and i was wondering if my pc is going to work. I'm kinda new to pc building, so ya. 

 

Processor: Intel Pentium G3258

Motherboard: ASUS H81M-E 

Video Card: MSI R9 270 

Memory: Kingston Hyperxfury Memory Blue 8GB

Storage: WD Green 1 TB Desktop Hard Drive

Power Supply: Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX

cooling: three 120 mm Corsair AF120 fans 

Os: Windows 8.1

Monitor: BenQ GL GL2460HM

 

I'm not planning to overclock anything, and i want to keep everything at stock.

yeah it will but you will have to update the bios on the mobo first

You need to specify on "If my pc is going to work"....I mean yeah, it's going to run the os fine...

No, it should work without an update. 

but i'v been told many time that you would have to update the bios so it would work

Lol what did you do copy the 600$ build from the Holiday buyers guide and change a few components and ask if it would work?

That cpu is way better when overclocked.
