So, i got a new PC and I have been playing some ARMA 3 and ARMA 2 DayZ mods.

But i get really bad fps in them on like high settings. That i'm pretty sure my PC should be able to handle. i know that both of these games are pretty CPU intensive because of bad optimization or something like that but on ARMA 3 king of the hill i'm pretty sure i shouldn't be getting like 10 FPS.

Plus i have all of the latest driver and all of that stuff.

Please don't comment "Oh, why did you get that CPU" or something like that, i know its not a very good choice but i didn't choose it. But it along with a GTX 770 should be able to handle ARMA 3 and dayZ at above 60 Fps right??

Out of all the games we usually hear about or play, Arma3 is a pretty intensive resource hungry performance limited kind of game.

No matter what you run it on (mostly)

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Yeah, I guessed that could have been something but it still should be able to handle it right??

A friend of mine with a zotac 770 and a 4770 runs arma 3 on highest at 12-19 fps... So yeah, it's game's fault...

rig: i7 4770k @4.1Ghz (delidded), Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600Mhz, ROG Maximus VI Hero, Noctua NH-D14, EVGA GTX980SC, Samsung 850 EVO 500GB, Corsair SF600, self-built wooden Case, CoolerMaster QuickFire TK, Logitech G502, Blue Yeti, BenQ GW2760HS
